Overview

Get the real canadian experience by joining our camping trip to Algonquin Park! Led by a local guide who has 15 years of camping and canoeing experience. If you’re looking for some time to enjoy solitude, tranquility and dark night skies than you will not be disappointed!
If you like hiking, canoeing, sitting around the campfire and swimming in the lake you can't miss this trip.
We will leave Toronto early in the morning and will drive to Algonquin Provincial Park. We will decide as a group which trails we will hike (we can choose one long hike (Mizzy lake or couple of shorter hikes).
After the hiking we will drive to our campsite and pitch the tents. You can relax, while we be preparing dinner for you or go for a short walk around the campsite. After the dinner we will go to our favourite sunset spot - Lookout Trail. Lookout Trail is a 2.1 km loop trail that is fairly steep and rugged, but rewards the hiker with a magnificent view of several hundred square kilometres of Algonquin.
Well deserved marshmallows roasted over the campfire can't be missed on the end of the day.
Next morning after the breakfast and check out we will drive to Portage Store and enjoy 3 hours of canoeing. After the canoeing we will do some hiking - the group can again decide if you would like to do one longer or two shorter hikes (depending how tired you will be from the previous day).
This is a 2-day trip.
