Overview

Let´s head to the tip of the Bruce Peninsula and explore the rugged landscape and shipwrecks! The Bruce Peninsula is home to a variety of animals, including black bears, the Mississauga rattlesnake, and the barred owl.

Join us on a three days, all inclusive camping, hiking & foodie experience tour, and explore the best of places of Bruce Peninsula from the shore, boat and kayak. This is an all inclusive tour for beginner lever of hikers. If you don’t have any camping experience, don’t worry, this trip is great for your, we will help you to pitch the tent and explain the basic rules of camping.

Famous Travelling Chicken chef Jubert will be cooking yummy food on BBQ. You have to try his food, it’s outstanding! Don’t expect any frozen craft dinner, his food is made from scratch and yes, vegetarian options are available! Try traditional Filipino Boodle fight and much more!

Our campsite is in Bruce Peninsula National Park, very close to famous Grotto and Indian Head Cove (20 minutes walking distance). Indian Head Cove is called Caribbean of Ontario for it’s crystal clear water, limestone cliffs and amazing views.

On our tour, we will also visit Flowerpot Island. Flowerpot Island is famous for its natural sea stacks, also known as the “flowerpots” and it’s accessible only by boat. Glass bottom boat will take you from Tobermory to Flowerpot Island and you will be able to see two shipwrecks on a way.

We will also explore Big Tub Lighthouse in Tobermory on kayaks and we will hike Lion’s Head Trail, Grotto, Indian Head cove and Overhanging point.

Itinerary

Day 1

7 am leaving from scheduled places in Toronto

11 pm – 2 pm Lion’s Head Hiking

3 pm – 5 pm – Campsite check in, campsite set up

6.30 pm – BBQ dinner prepared by chef at the campsite.

Day 2

8.30 am – 9.30 am Breakfast

10.00 am – 1 pm – Grotto, Indian Cove and Overhanging Point Hike

1.30 pm – 2.30 pm – Lunch at the local restaurant (Your choice of fish and chips, beef tacos or vegetarian tacos, dessert pop).

3.30 pm – 4.30 pm – Kayaking (optional, if you don’t want to go kayaking, you will have an extra free time in Tobermory and you can go hiking instead)

5 pm – 6 pm – Free time in Tobermory

6 pm – 7 pm – Dinner at the campsite – traditional authentic Filipino Boodle Fight (assorted bbq meat, fish and veggie on rice and banana leafs)

Day 3

8 am – 9 am – breakfast

9 am – 10.30 am – check out

11.30 am – Glass Bottom Boat to Flowerpot Island

11.30 am – 2.30 pm – Flowerpot Island hiking

3 pm – leaving to Toronto

Please note, that the itinerary might change due to the weather conditions. When there are high winds, the cruise might be canceled and we will hike or kayak instead.

Do I need any camping experience?
No, you don't. Our tours are designed for beginners.
What is the age group joining the tour?
The avarage age group is 25-40 however we can have younger or older people joining the tour. As we are small groups only, everyone gets along together very well.
Do I have to go kayaking?
You don't have to go kayaking. If you decide not to kayak, you will have an extra free time in Tobemory and you can go hiking.
Do I need to bring my own tent?
Yes. If you don't have your tent, you can purchase one on our website. Unfortunately we don't rent the tents this year due to the previous experiences (Most of the rented tents were returned broken)
Do you have vegetarian options of meal?
Yes, we have vegetarian menu available.
Are there showers in the campground?
Yes, showers are available at the campground.
