BRUCE PENINSULA CAMPING

Overview

Let´s head to the tip of the Bruce Peninsula and explore the rugged landscape and shipwrecks! The Bruce Peninsula is home to a variety of animals, including black bears, the Mississauga rattlesnake, and the barred owl.
The North Bruce Peninsula offers some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling in North America. This is not surprising, considering the amount of shipwrecks and natural underwater rock formations found in the waters of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.
This camping is great for beginners so don't worry if you have never camped, we will show you everything and you can purchase equipment for affordable prices with us!
Our tour will start at Sauble Beach area. We will hike to Sauble Falls and swim and relax at Sauble beach by Lake Huron. You will also explore famous Grotto area at Bruce Peninsula National Park, visit Tobermory, take 1 hour cruise and kayak to Big Tub area where you can see shipwrecks (weather permitted).

We will take one hour fun cruise ride around Flowerpot Island, Grotto and other beautiful sides along Bruce Peninsula National Park. Once leaving the dock, you will get to see the picture-perfect Big Tub Lighthouse before speeding off toward the pristine islands of Fathom Five National Marine Park. As we tour the channels between the islands, you will get to see some spectacular caves, untouched shorelines and catch a glimpse of the famous Cove Island Lighthouse!

After that, TOBERMORY FLASH will shoot across the open water where, we then circle famous Flowerpot Island where guests will take in the light station, caves, and the two naturally occurring Flowerpot rock pillars! After seeing Flowerpot Island we’ll head out into open water for some more fun, before arriving at the gorgeous Bruce Peninsula shoreline where you’ll be able to take in the astonishing cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment. We’ll tour the shore of Bruce Peninsula National Park where you’ll see the famous Grotto, as well as some amazing caves, and the Overhanging Point! As we return to Tobermory you will be treated to some more amazing scenery before arriving back at our dock in Little Tub Harbour.

We will also visit famous Grotto at the Bruce Peninsula National Park. The Grotto in Tobermory is Bruce County’s most popular attraction, a bustling hot spot visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year. One of Mother Nature’s crown jewels, its turquoise pool of water and intricate cave structures are mesmerizing! The Grotto is one of our premier destinations and visitors travel from all over the world to hike out on the Bruce Trail to see this iconic feature. After the boat ride we will head to Bruce Peninsula National park to hike and swim Indian Head cove and you can swim into famous Grotto! You will have time to swim inside of the caves, jump of the cliffs or just hike around and take lot of pictures. There are lot of scenic lookouts at Indian Cove.

On our last day, we will hike Lion's Head Provincial Park and we will visit Inglis Falls. Inglis Falls is an 18-metre-high (59 ft) cascade, created by the Sydenham River meeting the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. Please note, that this is an introductory tour of Bruce Peninsula.
Our campground is located at White Sands, Sauble Beach. This is a party campground with showers, washrooms, basketball and volleyball playgrounds. Music is allowed in passed 11 pm so if you are an early sleeper, please bring ear plugs as it might get load during a night, depending on our neighbors.
