BRUCE PENINSULA CAMPING
The North Bruce Peninsula offers some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling in North America. This is not surprising, considering the amount of shipwrecks and natural underwater rock formations found in the waters of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.
This camping is great for beginners so don't worry if you have never camped, we will show you everything and you can purchase equipment for affordable prices with us!
Our tour will start in Tobermory. We will drive to Harmony Acres Campground to set up tents. After lunch, we will take you kayaking to the shipwreck area along the Big Tub harbor and lighthouse. We will kayak for 2 hours. Don't worry if you have never kayaked before as you will get paddle instruction before the tour and our tour guide will be on the water all the time with you. Kayaks are pretty stable!
We will walk to Bruce Peninsula National park after kayaking to hike to Dunk's Bay Lookout. This is our secret place where you can swim or just chill on the rocks.
After that, we will return to the campsite and you can enjoy your night around the campfire.
On Sunday we will start our day by taking a glass bottom boat to Flowerpot Island. You will see shipwrecks on the way to the Island and you will have a chance to hike and swim at the island for 3 hours. That gives you enough time to walk around the island, swim by Flowerpots or jump of the cliffs.
We will drive to famous Grotto in Bruce Peninsula National Park after our return from Flowerpot Island. You can hike to Overhanging Point, swim into the Grotto or relax at one of the many lookouts.
On our last day, we will visit Lion's Head Town and Sauble Beach. You can relax on the beautiful sandy beach by Lake Huron. This is one of the best sandy beaches in Ontario! Our last stop will be at Inglis Falls. Inglis Falls is an 18-metre-high (59 ft) cascade, created by the Sydenham River meeting the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. Please note, that this is an introductory tour of Bruce Peninsula.
