In 2017, Canada celebrates 150 years as a nation and Travelling Chicken would like to show you the most beautiful places of Eastern Canada! Join the party and celebrate #Canada150 with us - Canada is THE place to be in 2017!

Get the real Canadian experience by joining our camping trip to Killarney Park! If you’re looking for some time to enjoy solitude, tranquility and dark night skies than you will not be disappointed!
If you like hiking, canoeing, sitting around the campfire and swimming in the lake you can't miss this trip.
Killarney Provincial Park is a provincial park in central Ontario, Canada. Although not as well known as the world-famous Algonquin Provincial Park, Killarney is one of Ontario's most popular wilderness destinations. With its sapphire blue lakes and white quartzite ridges it is considered one of the crown jewels of the Ontario Park system.
We will leave Toronto on Friday at 2 pm and will drive to Killarney Provincial Park. After arrival, we will pitch the tent, have dinner and campfire.
We will spend all day in Killarney Provincial Park on Saturday. You can look forward for some canoeing, hiking and swimming. There are lot of hiking trails to choose from but we will start with the most popular The Crack trail. The Crack is Killarney's premier hike, showcasing the area's white rock mountains and offers an amazing view of the inland lakes. The trail has 6 km and it takes between three to four hours.
After the hike we will go back to the campsite for the dinner and campfire.
On Sunday morning after the breakfast and check out we will drive to Killarney Village. Killarney is one of the oldest villages in Northern Ontario. Friendliness and old world charm make Killarney Village a place that will make you feel at home. It’s a thriving community whose docks harbour rustic fishing boats and elaborate yachts.
You can buy lunch in Killarney and we strongly recommend famous fish and chips from Herbert’s Fisheries!
We will head back to Toronto after the lunch.
This is one day trip.
