NORTH BEACH AND FILIPINO BBQ
North Beach Provincial Park is smaller version of Sandbanks and is a great spot for a day-trip to the beach. It is known for it's picturesque sand dunes, stunning beach. North Beach offers 1,200 metres of sandy beach facing Lake Ontario and another 800 metres of sand beach on North Bay. Waters drop off gradually on the lake side and steeply on the bay side.
Our Travelling Chicken chef Jubert will cook delicious Filipino BBQ lunch Boodle Fight on the beach, just for you! Variety of BBQ meat is place on the top of long banana leafs and it's served with rice.
Join us on a beach day tour to North Beach Provincial Park. You can walk on sandy dunes, chill on the beach by Lake Ontario, swim and learn how to cook traditional Filipino food on charcoal BBQ.
We will have some inflatable water toys available, but feel free to bring your own as well.
Prince Edward County has lot of wineries in the area so we will stop at Sandbanks winery on the way back to Toronto. If the tasting for our group will be available on the day of the tour, the tasting fee for the Travelling Chicken group will be waived by the winery. If they won't have availability for our group, you can still get a glass of wine at the winery or just walk around the vineyards and take pictures.
Please note, that the itinerary might change due to the weather conditions or North Beach Provincial Park capacity limitation.
